St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church Raleigh, North Carolina
GREETINGS FROM THE PASTOR….
Welcome to St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church!
We greet you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus
the Christ, serving as the “Mother Church” of African Methodism in the Western North Carolina Conference.
Our mission and calling is to serve as an avenue towards greater fellowship within our Community, being the Family of God. It is with a sense of urgency that we emphasize the essential oneness of our common humanity; that as many drops of water combine to make the ocean, and many grains of sand unite and form the earth, and as the innumerable rays of heaven blend into one principle light – so must we live in fellowship with others, if we would make the most of ourselves, and do the most for them.
The main thrust of our fellowship is one: God is the Father of our Human Family; Every soul is sacred; Each personality is an end in itself; Justice is the basis of Life; Love is its saving power; Brotherhood and Sisterhood is its Crown; and a Beloved Community, its Goal.
Come go with us and share in our Vision, Worship Experiences, Bible Studies, Fellowship Hours, Prayer Meetings, Revivals, and other various Ministries, as we strive to serve and please God in the newness of life.
“And it doth not yet appear what we shall be… ”
